Key Tasks Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Good communication skills Manage and help train staff Design new menu choices and provide accurate costings Keeping Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and allergen records Prepare meals to a high standard, with attention to detail and portion control Careful control and ordering of all goods relevant to the kitchen and monitor waste Locking and Unlocking of the premises
