THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic ILD Medical Educator Team Manager to lead and develop a national team of Medical Educators (MEs). This role is pivotal in implementing ILD Franchise objectives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical education that drives sustainable improvements in clinical practice and patient care. Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts UKIE ILD, you will align ME objectives with cross-functional strategies and foster collaboration across teams.
This is a 2-year contract. Candidates may be based nationally, associated travel is required for field coaching.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, coach, and manage the Medical Educator team to deliver high-quality education programs.
• Drive individual performance and development through feedback, training, and growth opportunities.
Performance Management:
• Ensure achievement of qualitative and quantitative KPIs for the ME team.
• Monitor and optimize omni-channel engagement to expand reach and impact.
Educational Strategy & Delivery:
• Oversee the design and delivery of education programs that change ILD clinical practice and improve patient care.
• Continuously evolve ME resources and interventions to meet HCP needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Ensure ME integration with local account teams and alignment with health system priorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support resource availability and compliance.
Compliance & Governance:
• Ensure adherence to ABPI/IPHA Codes, BI SOPs, and legal frameworks.
• Partner with signatory colleagues for timely review and certification of educational materials.
• Insight & Impact:
• Collect and share customer feedback and insights to inform franchise strategy.
• Be accountable for ME team contribution to ILD Franchise objectives and ICP requirements.

Your leadership will drive sustainable changes in clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and contribute to the uptake of ILD assets across the UK & Ireland.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education & Qualifications:
• Degree in a scientific or clinical discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• ABPI/IPHA qualification.
• Digitally literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Clean driving license.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a customer-facing or medical affairs role.
• Proven experience in coaching and people development (line management or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of medical education principles and healthcare delivery transformation.
• Knowledge of ABPI/IPHA compliance for promotional and non-promotional activities.
