BIM Manager – Mechanical Design & Digital Delivery

About Us
We are a fast-growing mechanical and structural specialist delivering high-spec prefabricated
pipework systems, plant rooms and steel support solutions for major data centre projects
across the UK and Europe.
Our projects demand fabrication-level detail and buildable digital delivery. We are now seeking
a senior, hands-on BIM Manager to take ownership of BIM delivery and mechanical design
modelling across live projects.
The Role
This is not a coordination-only position.
We are looking for a technically strong BIM Manager who actively models in Revit while
managing standards, QA, coordination and team performance.
You will take ownership of BIM delivery and mechanical design modelling from client Stage 4
information through to LOD 400+ fabrication-ready models, ensuring designs are practical,
coordinated and aligned with workshop production.
You will lead by example — both technically and operationally.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce and review high-detail Revit models (mechanical pipework bias)
• Lead and manage the BIM / CAD team
• Oversee mechanical design development and constructability
• Ensure models are fabrication-ready (LOD 400+)
• Run clash detection and coordination meetings (Navisworks)
• Enforce BIM standards and BEPs
• Manage ACC / BIM360 workflows
• Conduct model QA/QC audits
• Interface with clients, consultants and internal engineering teams
• Improve workflows between design, fabrication and site
Essential Requirements
• 5+ years' BIM experience within mechanical services
• Advanced Revit MEP capability (pipework essential)
• Experience delivering fabrication-level models
• Strong Navisworks coordination experience
• Experience managing or mentoring a team
• Strong understanding of constructability
• Confident running coordination meetings
Desirable
• Data centre project experience
• Structural steel / support modelling experience
• Prefabrication / modular construction background
• Dynamo or automation experience
• ISO 19650 knowledge
