Pay Rate: £ per hour + holiday payWe are currently recruiting a Front Office Administrative Officer to join a fast‑paced, high‑profileernment environment. This is an on-site role working as part of the front office team, acting as the key point of contact for drivers passing through border control operations.The RoleAs a Front Office Administrative Officer, you will be the primary interface between drivers and the on‑site operational teams. You will manage face-to-face queries, ensure documentation is correct, and support the smooth flow of vehicles through the inspection and booking-in process.Key Responsibilities
1. Greeting and assisting drivers at the front office
2. Handling face-to-face queries relating to transport and border documentation
3. Checking in drivers and managing bookings using the PINC system
4. Locating missing or incorrect documentation by liaising with import agents and border control authorities in other countries
5. Allocating inspection bays and updating systems accordingly
6. Clearing data and systems post-inspection
7. Liaising with on-site operations teams and wider stakeholders
8. Maintaining accurate records in a fast-moving operational environment
Skills & Experience Required
9. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
10. Confidence dealing with drivers
11. Previous administrative or front office experience (desirable)
12. Strong IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
13. Ability to work calmly and professionally in a busy, regulated environment
14. Flexibility to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
