KS2 Teacher – Year 5/6 Focus – Leyland ✨
Are you a KS2 teacher who thrives on challenge, connection, and creativity? A mainstream primary setting in Leyland is looking for someone special to take the reins in Upper Key Stage 2 — specifically Year 5 or Year 6.
This isn’t just about delivering lessons. It’s about guiding pupils through a crucial stage in their learning journey, building confidence, and preparing them for what’s next.
Whether you're looking for your next long-term role or open to exploring new opportunities in the coming months, this is a great chance to step into a setting where your skills will be valued and your impact will be felt.
What’s on offer:
✅ A role where you can focus on teaching, not endless paperwork
✅ Weekly pay and consistent support throughout your placement
✅ Opportunities to experience different schools and settings, while still building strong relationships
✅ A team that’s got your back — whether it’s your first day or your fiftieth
✅ The chance to be considered for upcoming roles and build connections across KS2 settings
What you’ll be doing:
Leading a Year 5 or Year 6 class with confidence and creativity
Delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire
Supporting pupils through key academic milestones
Building strong relationships and contributing to a positive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
QTS and solid experience in KS2 (Year 5/6 preferred)
Strong classroom management and a calm, adaptable approach
A teacher who brings energy, warmth, and a sense of humour
Someone who’s ready to hit the ground running and make a real impact
If you’re ready for a role that gives you the freedom to teach, the support to thrive, and the chance to make a difference — we’d love to hear from you.
