Job Opportunity: Band 8B Principal Psychologist
Would you like to combine advanced case work from a stimulating caseload with leading a small Psychology and Occupational Therapy team in Older People’s Mental Health community services?
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of the Stepped Care Therapies Services for older adults, as part of the clinical leadership team for the service and directorate.

We have strong links with the University of East Anglia for training Clinical Psychologists.

Travel around the county is required, and applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Public transport is not suitable for this role due to reliability issues. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
The team works alongside Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses, and a Memory Assessment Service. The role involves clinical activity approximately 3 out of 5 days, including case reviews, formulation, supervision, training, and developing interventions for long-term conditions.
Qualifications include registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and extensive experience in mental health settings, particularly with older adults in community teams.
