Join our Service Charges Project team!
We are looking for an experienced Property/Service Charge Accountant to join our Service Charges Project team on a fixed-term basis, covering a maternity leave until December 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support our dynamic project team and contribute to our mission of investing in people and places for a sustainable future.
Having recently implemented a new finance system, this role is key to providing high-quality, accurate financial statements regarding service charges.
In this role, you will analyze ledger transactions and contract information to provide detailed financial data related to service charge costs, aligned with policy and apportionment structures.

Some of the qualities we are looking for:
* Experience in service charges or accounting within large, complex organizations with substantial budgets
* Ability to interpret information, conduct research, analyze complex data, and manage risk
* Experience delivering data and reports under tight deadlines
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proficiency in ICT (Word, Excel, Cloud technologies)
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Qualified to AAT Level 2 or equivalent, or relevant experience in Service Charges
Note: While this role is home-based, occasional travel to Group offices in Birmingham, Solihull, and Worcester is required for meetings, typically once a week.
