Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full-time Religious Studies teacher to begin in October 2025 for the full academic year at our client secondary school based in Bury.
* Full-time Religious Education Teacher required from October 2025
* Pay in line with Teacher Pay Scale M1-UPS3
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE specialising in secondary Religious Education.
Our client secondary school are looking to appoint a Religious Education Teacher to deliver the curriculum to students aged 11-16 at GCSE level. You will be an enthusiastic teacher with excellent knowledge of the Religious Education Curriculum. With a track record of excellent classroom practice, you will contribute to raising attainment levels within the humanities department.
Role responsibilities:
* Monitor student progress and set high expectations to motivate learners.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
* Engage in the full planning and marking cycle.
* Adhere to all safeguarding and child protection policies.
This school is located in central Bury which makes it easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Bolton and Salford.
