Our client is an award winning two rosette establishment with a fantastic reputation, situated a stones throw away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Gower.
Contract: Permanent
Rate Of Pay: 41000 per year
Hours of Work: 45-52 hours a week 5 out of 7 days
Start Date: Immediate
Accommodation: Available for 3 months if relocating
The Role
Our client is renowned for delivering exceptional, locally sourced food to the highest of standards. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join their dynamic, fast paced kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities
As a sous chef you will play a vital role in the day to day running of the kitchen, supporting the head chef in managing all kitchen operations in a smooth and timely manner.
Working closely with the head chef you will need to lead by example, ensuring the highest levels of consistency, while supporting and mentoring the team.
Assist in creating seasonal menus for both the restaurant and events
Maintain rosette level consistency across all sections
Uphold the highest level of food safety and hygiene
Stock and Cost control management
Engage with suppliers
Take full charge of the kitchen in the head chefs absence
Supervise and train all staff
Requirements
You must be passionate about high-quality fine dining food
Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure
Hold a minimum of a level 2 food hygiene certificate
Worked in a rosette or fine dining establishment
