Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Corporate Finance to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing our corporate finance activities, including financial planning and analysis, capital budgeting, investment analysis, and strategic financial decision-making. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead financial planning and analysis efforts to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
* Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and evaluate investment opportunities.
* Oversee the capital budgeting process, including assessing investment proposals, analyzing ROI, and making recommendations to senior management.
* Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure to optimize financial performance.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support long-term strategic planning.
* Lead due diligence efforts for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments that may impact the company's financial position.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related field, with at least 8 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
* Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial planning software.
* Deep understanding of financial principles, valuation techniques, and corporate finance concepts.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and delivering value in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
* CFI, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
