We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dementia care. As the Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting the management team in delivering quality services to our residents.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in the overall operation of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
* Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.
* Oversee medication administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to promote collaborative care.
Skills
* Proven experience in care home environments is essential.
* Excellent management skills with previous supervising experience in a care setting.
* Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating and guiding staff.
* Proficient in medication administration procedures and regulations.
