The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-growing developer and construction company based in Liverpool.
The Project Manager will be based in our Crosby Headquarters and will be responsible for delivering a number of sites across Merseyside.

* Type: Permanent
* Trial period: 3 Months
* Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm
* Work Location: Head Office - Crosby. Project Sites - Birkenhead.

Salary & Benefits
* Rate of pay: £60,000 – £65,000 Per Annum (Dependent on Experience)

Skills
* CSCS Card / NVQ Level 2 (minimum)
* Relevant experience delivering residential construction projects as Contracts/Project Manager
* In-depth knowledge of the Construction Industry
* Health & Safety Qualifications Preferred
* Ability to manage multiple schemes concurrently
* Strong commercial awareness
* Great verbal and written communication
* Highly organised and professional with a keen eye for detail
* Ability to problem solve
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Project and reporting software
* Experience using ASTA Preferred
* Technical understanding of current construction standards and building regulations
Responsibilities
* Execute the lead role in project delivery from client brief and inception through to completion and handover
* Take control of multiple projects ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
* Responsible for short-term and long-term project programming
* Liaise with project QS to manage contract and procurement processes including subcontractor appointments
* Effectively manage site managers, employees and subcontractors ensuring performance, compliance and productivity
* Supervise the workforce and monitor overall quality standards across sites
* Manage effective communication between all stakeholders including Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Site Managers and Subcontractors
* Facilitate project coordination between Site Managers and operational teams to ensure seamless execution
* Create and manage a robust Risk framework across all projects
* Attend and lead site and subcontractor meetings
* Assist & Produce the weekly/monthly production of management reports
* Oversee Site Managers keeping accurate records of materials, labour, valuations and progress
* Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adopted in compliance with legislation
* Assist with risk assessments, method statements and compliance reviews
* Hold accountability for ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed

Additional Requirements
* Previous experience in Contracts/Project Management role for mid to large scale developments is essential
* Ability to perform effectively both at site and in head office
* Willingness to work flexible hours when required to meet project deadlines
* Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage multiple live construction sites
