As a Senior Environmental Advisor, you’ll be part of a team that’s doing incredible things - for ourselves, for the built environment around us, and for a truly sustainable future The role: The main purpose of the role is to ensure environmental compliance within Robertson Group. The Senior Environmental Advisor will cover the built environment lifecycle from development, construction, facilities management, civil engineering, timber engineering, and strategic services, across the UK. This senior role involves championing high standards and embedding the Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) strategy to ensure a best-in-class environmental culture. The diverse project work may vary but the goal is the same, to assure a sustainable future. Duties: Implement and support the Group ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, developing processes and procedures as and when required. Actively take part in work winning process i.e. Tender Responses Support the preconstruction teams to ensure environmental considerations are integrated into all phases of work, assisting with the development of the Environmental Management, and Aspects and Impact registers and other site requirements Build strong relationships with the business functions and regional businesses by providing support and guidance on environmental risks including regulatory matters and legal obligations. Lead on inspections, internal audits. Participate in external environmental audits where required. Identify and assess environmental risks and contribute to their effective management and mitigation. Investigate incidents and near misses, share lessons learned. Attend and contribute to Incident Review Boards (IRBs) when required Help to identify, develop and as appropriate deliver, environmental training programmes and courses. Monitoring training in accordance with core training requirements Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business to further SHE performance Any other duties required by Group Environmental Manager Our Principles - The Robertson Way Our principles are our roadmap to achieving positive outcomes and delivering on our purpose.
