In this role, you’ll help drive growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver impactful apprenticeship and training solutions.If you’re commercially minded, confident in working with clients, and enjoy a consultative approach to sales, this position offers autonomy, meaningful work, and strong long-term prospects.*Actual salary for 18.5 hours per week is commencing at £15,053 with progression to £15,958 per annumWhat You Will DoResponsible for driving sales and employer engagement activity across North Yorkshire (Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Boroughbridge, York).Take ownership of your own sectors, manage a pipeline of opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and deliver a first-class consultative sales experience to employers. Deliver a consultative sales approach across apprenticeship and training solutions, manage a pipeline to meet targets, and present compelling proposals to clients.Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with employers, stakeholders, and industry contacts through regular meetings and engagement.Gather and share market intelligence, and represent the organisation at events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, and contribute to team meetings and wider organisational initiatives.About YouProven experience in Employer Engagement, Business Development, or Sales within the Further Education sector, with a strong track record of achieving performance targets.Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels.Strong communication skills with the confidence and experience to deliver engaging presentations to a wide range of stakeholders, both in person and via online platforms.Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially awareComfortable managing your own sectorsFull UK driving licence and access to your own vehicleSolid understanding of the Further Education landscape, with particular insight into the delivery and development of apprenticeship programmes.Why Apply?This is more than a sales role it’s an opportunity to play a key part in developing future talent, supporting businesses, and contributing to long-term skills growth across the region.
