GSL Education are currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant school in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their full potential while working collaboratively with a dedicated team of staff.
Role Overview
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will take on a more advanced support role, delivering planned interventions and sometimes leading learning under the guidance of the class teacher. You’ll provide in-depth assistance to students with varied needs and contribute actively to classroom planning and progress tracking.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality support to teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.
* Take responsibility for leading small group interventions and one-to-one support.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities.
* Support pupils with additional or complex needs to help them thrive in the classroom.
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and reports.
Candidate’s Requirements
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification or equivalent.
* Substantial classroom experience, ideally in Key Stages settings.
* A calm, confident, and encouraging approach to pupil support.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
