The ideal candidate will have an experience of working in a specialist school/setting for children and young people who have very complex needs including PMLD, SLD and Autism, along with NHS Band 5 or 6 SALT experience. The Redbridge Integrated Care Board and Local Authority are jointly transforming therapy support for children and young people in Special Schools. The successful candidate will join the our School Trust therapy hub and work across all three school sites. This newly established service will be supervised by a Lead Specialist Speech and Language therapist and includes joint working with other therapists – SALT and OT as well as support from therapy assistants who focus on ensuring every pupil has an individual AAC programme and equipment.
