Job Title: CNC Turner or Milling Setter Operators

About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced CNC Turner or Milling Setter Operators to join a well-established precision engineering company based near Chard Junction. This is a permanent, full-time role offering competitive pay and stable day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC turning or milling machines
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*
Monitor production and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
*
Perform in-process checks using measuring equipment
*
Maintain cleanliness and safety of machines and work area
*
Work to tight tolerances and inspect finished components for accuracy
Requirements:
*
Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning or milling machines
*
Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
*
Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is highly desirable
*
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
*
Knowledge of workshop health and safety standards
