Location: Lisburn
Salary: £12.70 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-2:30pm)

The Role
As a Cafe Assistant, you'll play a key role in the daily running of our cafe, working closely with the Cafe Manager to deliver excellent service while supporting adults with learning disabilities in a safe and welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and service
Operate the till and handle cash accurately
Prepare hot drinks (barista training provided if needed)
Maintain hygiene and safety standards
Provide outstanding customer service
Support and encourage adults with learning disabilities in the café environment
Essential Criteria :
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
Minimum 2 years' experience in a catering environment
At least 1 years' experience preparing food in a kitchen
Barista skills or willingness to learn
Comfortable using a till and handling money
Strong customer service and communication skills
Kind, supportive attitude
Excellent IT skills
Desirable:
Understanding of barriers faced by adults with learning disabilities
Reliable, flexible, and a team player
