Financial Oversight
* Oversee and present management accounts, budgets, and financial statements to the board of trustees.
* Ensure that proper accounts and records are kept in compliance with regulatory standards.
Trustee Duties
* To chair the Finance Committee.
* Actively participate in the organization’s governing board, attending four Board meetings per year.
* Chair four Finance meetings per year.
* Ensure good governance, legal compliance, and effective performance by addressing critical issues during Board meetings, seeking professional advice, and holding the staff team accountable.
* Utilise your professional skills to support the organization’s work.
Advocacy and Ambassadorship
* Act as an ambassador for the charity, representing Jewish Women’s Aid in high‑level decision‑making circles within the Jewish Community and Domestic Abuse/Sexual Violence sectors and among your peers.
* Attend and support the charity’s events and initiatives.
