🚛 HGV Class 2 Driver

We’re currently recruiting for a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy transport team delivering furniture across the UK. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that includes regular nights out and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
1. Completing daily vehicle checks and keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy
2. Loading and unloading goods, ensuring everything is safely secured
3. Providing excellent customer service during every delivery
4. Monday to Friday
5. Tramping 2–3 nights per week – £26 night-out allowance paid per night
6. Driving in accordance with UK road laws and EU driver hours regulations
7. Handling and submitting fuel/expense receipts in line with company policy
✅ Requirements:
8. Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence at least 1 year experience
9. Valid CPC card with at least 1 year remaining
10. Experience using tail lifts, ratchet straps, and manual handling equipment
11. Good knowledge of UK geography
12. Understanding of EU driver hours and tachograph regulations
13. Professional, polite, and safety-conscious attitude
14. Physically fit – some heavy lifting involved

15. £16.00 per hour £21 per hour after 8 hours– paid weekly
16. £25 night-out allowance per night when tramping
