Working for a global, luxury, multi-channel fashion brand that covers primarily wholesale, but also retail and eCommerce, the Senior Merchandising Manager will lead the merchandising strategy and execution across all channels.
The Senior Merchandising Manager will be responsible for:
* Working closely with stakeholders across the business to optimise inventory flow, planning, forecasting and ultimately drive increased sales and revenue
* Improving sales through eCommerce, retail and wholesale through effective planning and trading strategies
* Range planning and building
* Working with design and production teams to improve seasonal forecasting, range planning and re-orders
* Wholesale sample planning across tradeshows, showrooms and agents/distributors
* Financial planning, forecasting and WSSI management, working with finance team
* Acting as a key stakeholder between merchandising, marketing, design/creative and logistics teams
* Managing a small team - 1 direct report to start
The Senior Merchandising Manager will have:
* Plenty of experience as a merchandiser, ideally in an omni-channel company
* Must have wholesale merchandising experience, ideally with both eCommerce and retail as well
* Excellent analytical skills and a data driven mindset
* High commercial acumen
* Great communication and stakeholder management skills
* Retail/eCommerce experience
* Ideally come from an SME
* A background in luxury, premium or fashion would be good, but is by no means essential
