Mental Health Assistant - Windsor
Aspiring Psychologist Opportunity • ASAP Start
Responsibilities
* Support the academic learning, emotional wellbeing and behaviour of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in a special school setting.
* Work with children aged 8 to 18 who require consistent, ongoing care and student-centred support.
* Collaborate with on-site therapists, counsellors and psychologists; shadow sessions and learn from the on-site team.
* Contribute to a therapeutic approach at the school and participate in provided training to develop skills as a Mental Health Assistant.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* Graduates in related fields are desirable (e.g., Psychology, Counselling, Criminology).
* Enthusiastic, caring and resilient with an openness to a challenge and complex needs.
* Ideal for graduates in Psychology or Counselling seeking to develop experience in educational psychology, therapeutic support, or SEN teaching.

* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
* Salary: £90–£110 per day
