Weekend Veterinary Surgeon – ECC 1 Weekend On / 4 Weekends Off Leicester Up to £72,000 per annum (pro rata, DOE) An established 24-hour veterinary hospital in Leicester is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its dedicated Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) team. This is a part-time, weekend-only position, working Saturday and Sunday, 9am–7pm, on a 1 weekend on, 4 weekends off rota, offering an excellent work–life balance alongside a highly competitive salary. The Practice The recently refurbished 24-hour small animal hospital supports multiple local clinics across the Leicester area and benefits from a loyal client base and varied emergency caseload. The hospital is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, including: • Orthopaedic equipment • Digital and dental X-ray • Ultrasound • Endoscopy • Tonometry The Role This is a sole-charge ECC role, ideal for a confident and experienced veterinary surgeon with strong medical and surgical skills.
