Responsibilities:
1. Answer incoming sales calls via telephone, written inquiries, and fax requests.
2. Promote and effectively sell company products and services.
3. Generate customer quotations in a timely manner in response to customer RFQs.
4. Carry out a detailed contract review of customer orders/contracts in accordance with the company’s quality procedures, prior to accepting orders.
5. Enter customer POs/Contracts into ERP system, archiving related documentation according to quality procedures.
6. Understand and respond to customer delivery needs by interfacing with internal personnel.
7. Understand and support established sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to customers.
8. Relate new product ideas and stock replenishments to management for evaluation.
9. Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner.
10. Attend/facilitate on and offsite customer reviews.
11. Attend industry trade shows to generate new leads where necessary.
12. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, business management, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience with aerospace sales or experience working within a sales environment.
3. Educated to a GCSE level in English and Maths is essential.
4. Foreign language skills are desirable but not essential.
5. Company basic ERP knowledge and internet browsing skills.
