A truly unique and exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the leadership, continued growth and development of Lincolnshire's leading market research agency and marketing consultancy. We are a full-service research agency and the only one in the Lincoln area to be accredited as a Company Partner by the highly-respected Market Research Society (MRS).
We define, design, conduct and report all forms of research from nationwide online surveys to in-home depth interviews. We work with a great set of clients: nationally, regionally and locally. We have recently successfully conducted research projects for: Local Government Association (LGA), Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Tillotts Pharma AG, Tilt Insurance, Lincolnshire Co-op, Leeds University Business School, TEC Partnership, IEMA and many more.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Research will:-
* Contribute to the strategic leadership and direction of the business
* Work with the Managing Director to define and implement new research products and propositions
* Manage valuable existing client relationships, alongside fostering new connections
* Originate persuasive and detailed research proposals, tenders and estimates
* Take primary day-to-day responsibility for the operational quality and delivery of research projects
* Professionally project manage and oversee all research fieldwork
* Devise and design both qualitative and quantitative market research studies
* Moderate in-person and online focus groups
* Professionally conduct depth interviews
* Analyse and interpret market research data in all forms
* Draft thorough and compelling research debrief presentations
* Present research debriefs with confidence
* Play a major role in business development meetings
* Contribute strongly to the commercial performance of the company
The role will demand:-
* Very high levels of self-motivation and drive
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* Exceptional organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Confidence in marshalling and analysing data of all kinds
* Strong people management and inter-personal skills
* A hands on 'can do' attitude
* At least five years' experience in a research, insight or analysis role
* A lively interest in human behaviour and consumer psychology
* A sound appreciation of research methodologies
* A strong grasp of commercial imperatives.
