Join to apply for the Assistant Shop Manager role at TieTalent. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months based in Minehead, Somerset with 14 hours per week, and a salary of £23,850 per annum (based on 35 hours per week).
We are looking for a retail expert who is passionate about making a meaningful impact and supporting our charity work.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the shop manager to run a profitable, customer-focused shop that acts as the window of the British Red Cross on the high street.
* Work on the shop floor and coordinate activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
* Foster a brilliant shopping environment and deliver an excellent customer experience in-store.
* Oversee a team of volunteers, delivering induction, management, and development in partnership with the shop manager.
What you will need
* Experience in a shop environment; a track record as a retail professional.
* Strong people skills, with a passion for providing an excellent customer experience and supporting a team.
* Commercial awareness with a good understanding of financial targets and measures, plus proven IT skills.
* Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the store.
