Marina Developments Ltd (MDL Marinas) is the UK’s leading marina operator. We are looking for a passionate and customer‑focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Executive, based at The Yacht Club.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist customers with registration and account queries, and drive sales revenue through direct bookings and payment processing.
* Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and website, ensuring every customer gets maximum value from MDL services.
* Support marina teams with bookings and payments using our systems (Havenstar, Acteol CRM, Super Controller, Chargebee).
* Liaise with marina teams and customers to resolve queries in real time.
* Brief Marina Managers and teams on customer feedback and enquiries, escalating as appropriate.
* Maintain accurate customer records and achieve productivity targets.
* Support the marketing team with customer feedback and help promote MDL services.
* Ensure all legal, financial, health & safety, and company policies are followed.
* Collaborate with other departments as required (e.g., Boat Yards, Estates, Finance).
Sales Performance Targets
* Contacts Made – 35 internal and external prospecting calls/emails per shift.
* NPS Scores – Average above 20.
* MDL Fitness – Above budget.
* MDL Holidays – Above average externally managed occupancy %.
* Casual Berthing – Above budget.
* Average response time – Within 2 hours.

* Customer Service – Place all customers at the center of all business practices and provide outstanding care at all points of contact.
* Brand – Operate in accordance with MDL’s Brand pillars (Innovation, Pride, Experience) and principles (Warm and Friendly, Safe and Secure, Prompt and Efficient, Clean and tidy).
* Health & Safety & Environmental Compliance – Carry out duties in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy and adhere to all Risk Assessments, method statements and operating procedures.
* Quality Management System – Deliver sales and operational processes in accordance with Marina Regulations and company procedures and policies.
* Administration – Accurately and diligently manage the administration associated with your role.
