We are seeking a dynamic and service-focused Office Manager to join our client, a global retail business based in Russel Square, to support the daily functions of the Office. This includes working with Senior Leadership on the upcoming office move. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Office Manager within a corporate environment, along with strong people management skills. You will enjoy being the go-to person and promoting a collaborative approach across the business.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing a professional reception and switchboard service, ensuring all visitors have a positive experience.
2. Managing meeting rooms and hot desks, including providing refreshments for meetings.
3. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring facilities are safe and secure, and acting as the point of contact for internal facilities queries.
4. Adhering to Health & Safety requirements, including training fire wardens and first aiders, and maintaining emergency evacuation procedures.
5. Serving as the first point of contact for building management, communicating issues as needed.
6. Overseeing third-party services such as statutory testing, cleaning contractors, and other suppliers.
7. Maintaining supplier contracts, ensuring compliance, and renewing agreements appropriately.
8. Monitoring and controlling costs, including processing supplier invoices efficiently.
9. Leading the office relocation project, ensuring smooth setup and successful move management from day one.
If you have a strong background in Office Management within a large corporate setting, with proven skills in planning, organizing workloads, and managing last-minute changes and conflicts, this role is ideal. You should be capable of managing a small reception and facilities team, keeping them motivated, and ensuring the office space is always immaculately presented. Experience managing an office move will be highly advantageous.
