Canary Wharf | Monday–Friday | 40 hours | Paid Overtime
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join a high-volume, premium hospitality operation based in Canary Wharf.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong, hands‑on leader with a fine‑dining background who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments while maintaining exceptional standards.
The Role
* Working hours: 7:30am–4:00pm, with 1–2 occasional evening shifts (paid overtime)
* Leading a brigade of 10 chefs and 4 Kitchen Porters
* Delivering consistent, high‑quality food across multiple service styles
Service Overview
* Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
* Daily private dining (up to 18 rooms)
* High‑volume working lunches (up to 300 covers per day)
* Buffet service for 50–200 covers
* Canapés and finger food for events of up to 200 guests
* Family‑style buffets and structured banqueting
* Fine dining programme delivering approximately 100 covers per week
Key Requirements
* Proven senior‑level fine dining experience within high‑volume, complex kitchen operations
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and manage large teams
* Confidence delivering consistent quality under pressure
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
