Salary: Scale 6 Point 18-22 (£31,537 - £33,669 pro rata per annum, £27,776 - £29,681 actual per annum) Contract: Full time, non-teaching role, term time 1 Closing Date: 15th February 2026 at 9am Start Date: ASAP The Suthers School are looking to appoint an approachable and talented Behaviour and Standards Manager to join a warm and compassionate environment where every staff member makes a significant contribution to the experience of our students. Key responsibilities: Strengthen the pastoral culture and embed The Suthers Way to maintain a calm, disruption-free learning environment. Support daily behaviour operations, including managing the RR room, contributing to On-Call, and reducing lost learning. Work with SLT, pastoral staff, teachers, parents/carers, and external agencies to support students whose behaviour or standards fall below expectations. Track, record, and analyse behaviour data using Bromcom and Power BI to inform interventions. Develop and implement behaviour strategies, including BPAR processes and targeted interventions. Lead or support meetings with parents, contribute to assemblies, CPL, and wider extracurricular life. Act as a DSL and first aider, ensuring safeguarding, welfare, confidentiality, and health & safety standards are upheld. Build positive relationships with families and agencies while adhering to school policies and procedures. Maintain professional development and undertake reasonable duties aligned with the role.
