LGV/HGV Driver Trainer Manchester
Contract: Permanent | Salary: £39,000 | Location: Manchester
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver induction, refresher, and vocational training for LGV drivers
* Conduct assessments, post-incident retraining, and behavioural interventions
* Maintain accurate training and competence records
* Monitor driving performance and support continuous improvement
* Communicate vehicle updates and technical changes to drivers
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience across multiple vehicle types
* Proven experience conducting driver assessments
* Valid Class 2 HGV Licence with Digital Tachograph
* Up-to-date CPC training
* Basic understanding of HGV mechanics and maintenance
* Knowledge of relevant legislation (Working Time Directive, etc.)
* 2 evening shifts per month
