Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team on a self employed basis.The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
* Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements
* Proven experience in construction painting
* English language
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
* Own tools are preferred
