Length of employment: Job Summary: Do you want to work for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and play a key role in keeping our country safe through caring for the Defence estate and those that depend on it? DIO manages the Defence estate, one of the UK's largest and most diverse property portfolios, enabling the armed forces and Defence civilians to live, work, train and deploy. From net carbon-zero accommodation to runways for the F35 fighter jets, our outputs are unique in the UK and across the globe! This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job Description: Regional Delivery is a large, complex, and geographically dispersed operation within the DIO covering circa 58,000 assets, across over 500 sites and 275,000 Ha of freehold and leasehold estate in the UK and a further 580,000 Ha overseas; with a multitude of £multi-million contracts to manage. We deliver soft and hard facilities management services including building, maintaining, and servicing the majority of MODs built assets in the UK and overseas and managing the MODs training estate tenanted estate and USVF Built estate. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised individual to join a regional based busy team responsible for the contract management/monitoring and assurance of Soft Facilities Management of the HESTIA contracts on behalf of DIO and Unit Authority across sites within the North, Wales & West Midlands and East Regions. The Soft FM outputs are delivered via a contracted Industry Partner that is monitored and assured by DIO as the contract authority. The contract delivers a core set of standardised Soft FM Services including catering, retail and leisure, cleaning and associated services including window cleaning, laundry, dry cleaning, tailoring, short term catering, portable ablutions and waste management Learning and development tailored to your role An environment with flexible working options A culture encouraging inclusion and diversity A Civil Service pension with an employer contribution of 28.97% The post does not offer relocation expenses. We are seeking someone with: Candidates with excellent communication & organisational skills Experience of Microsoft Office applications A candidate with a knowledge of Soft Facilities Management and/or assurance is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist the team to ensure contracts are meeting contractual performance standards and are aligned with policy. Conduct SFM assurance activity to confirm delivery and standard of service. Assist in providing input to technical evaluations of user requirements. Assist with raising, uploading and monitoring of Request for Contract Action and Business Cases. Assurance of Service Information Packs (SIPs) following agreed changes to contract. Raise requisitions through Contract Procurement & Finance (CP&F). Collate service delivery information on Industry Partner contract performance identifying trends for onward reporting. Collate required data for all mandated SFM service delivery reports. Provide administration assistance for the monthly and 6-monthly Regional Performance Meetings for all 3 HESTIA regions. Assist with the alignment of SFM contracts for the next generation of SFM contracts, by introducing commonality of service delivery. Assist with budgetary Management. Process Domestic Assistance (DA) applications in accordance with policy entitlement. Input and interrogate Performance and Assurance Data.
