About the Role
:
We are looking for an Electrician to join our team on the Commercial works!
You will be required to visit all council owned properties such as; Community buildings, schools and community centres to complete any work that is required.
The work of an Electrician is varied and can include the following:
1. To Install, repair, renew, test and maintain electrical installations as required, meeting all legislative requirements
2. Electrical systems test and remedial works
3. Small to large electrical installations; socket installations to full re-rewires
4. LED Lighting upgrades
5. Inspect, test and issue certification for all electrical installations and repairs
6. Carry out fault diagnosis on site
7. Prepare sites for safe working
8. Keep up to date with required trade qualifications
9. Report all non-electrical faults to the Line Manager
10. Keep records of work undertaken, including maintenance & repairs work
11. Comply with H&S policies and procedures and carry out on site risk assessments for jobs undertaken
Role Criteria:
12. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
13. City & Guilds 18th Edition
14. Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent (Beneficial not necessity)
It would be advantageous to have worked in commercial settings previously and have IPAF & Scaffold certificates, but this is not essential.
