We are seeking a Sales Area Manager to cover the Midlands and Home Counties region, working with a dynamic team at a growing solutions provider. This role suits someone with a background in metrology (or a technical engineering discipline) who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and driving business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
 * Managing and growing sales within your territory, focusing on new and existing customers across the Midlands and Home Counties.
 * Promoting our client’s range of precision measurement and calibration products and services to manufacturing, engineering, and industrial clients.
 * Identifying opportunities for growth, attending trade shows, networking events, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
 * Developing deep technical knowledge of our client’s solutions (full training provided).
 * Collaborating closely with the internal engineering and service teams to ensure seamless delivery to customers.
What We’re Looking For
 * Proven track record in technical sales — ideally in metrology, calibration, or precision engineering (but other industrial sales backgrounds also considered).
 * A background in metrology or an understanding of measurement and calibration equipment is a strong advantage.
 * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
 * Full UK driving licence (essential).
