Funding Specialist

£26,500 basic plus up to £6,000 bonus and excellent benefits
40 hours/5 day week – Shifts across Monday to Saturday

We’re on the look out for a detail‑driven Funding Specialist to support our Finance Brokers and play a key part in delivering a smooth, five‑star experience for our customers. You will work closely with sales, compliance, payouts and quality assurance teams to keep everything running smoothly.
What you will be doing
* Maintain regular contact with the customer and dealer over the phone and via email to ensure deals are paid in timely manner
* Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Address customer queries and provide clear guidance throughout the funding process
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and handover progress
* All packs to be ‘right first time’ with invoices, proofs and documents checked for completion and quality before being sent for payout
* Send documentation to lenders to obtain payout
* Co‑ordinate with dealerships, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for the customer
* Adhere to Compliance with internal procedures, record keeping and data security requirements
* Accurately processing customer data and documentation – quickly and efficiently
* Responding to calls and queries promptly (we aim for within 4 rings and 1 hour respectively)
* Supporting our Finance Brokers with customer updates, paperwork and invoice generation
* Ensuring all packs and invoices are sent and completed on time – aiming for same‑day turnaround
* Keeping customers informed on the status of their order
* Any other duties as reasonably required
What you will need
* Previous experience in customer service experience over the phone is essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
* A quick learner who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
* Fantastic attention to detail – you’re the type who spots the missing full stop!
* Friendly and confident on the phone (inbound and outbound)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks with ease
* A team player who loves delivering great service
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
* A professional and customer‑centric approach
* Ability to pick up processes quickly and work in fast paced environment

Shifts:
Monday – Saturday, 2 Saturdays a month and day back during the week
Weekday hours 8.30-5.30/9-6/9.30-6.30
Saturdays 9-6
