Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor (Sizewell C) working with Blackwells on the Sizewell C Project,
Main Duties :
* Commerical Management of the Project
* Measurement, contractual correspondence, procurement and management of subcontractors
* Procurement and placement of material orders
* Submission of interim and final accounts
* Identifying, notifying and valuing compensation events
* Preparation and maintenance of budgets
* Progress monitoring and cost control including material reconciliations and weekly production reporting
* Financial reporting including cost and value reconciliations and cash flows
* Attendance at progress meetings
* Maintenance of a site diary, record keeping including as-built records
* General management including staff training
Qualifications and experience required:
* 5 years Experience in Quantity Surveying
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
