The successful applicant will undertake all routine aspects of audiometric testing, including audiometry (air & bone conduction), tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech audiometry on patients of all ages.

They will also undertake non-routine audiometric testing with appropriate supervision, including free field audiometry and OAE testing, with training provided as needed by a senior team member.

The role includes performing objective tests of hearing, such as ABR, OAE, or equivalents, and routine and non-routine hearing aid assessments, fittings, and verifications for adults, including digital hearing aids, along with ongoing support.

Additional responsibilities involve conducting vestibular assessments on adults, taking aural impressions, undertaking direct referral hearing aid assessments, and assisting with departmental statistics and audits.

Maintenance and calibration of technical equipment and proficiency in the use of the departmental database for maintaining patient records are also required.

Qualifications required:

* Foundation Degree or BSc (Hons) in Audiology

Registration with RCCP or HCPC is desirable but not essential; support will be provided for professional development and registration.

We offer learning and development opportunities, flexible working, NHS benefits, health and wellbeing services, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Our vision is to provide outstanding care, support healthy communities, and be a great place to work. Our mission is to provide personal and compassionate care, guided by our CARE values: collaborate, aspire, respect, and enable.
