Are you a committed Qualified Social Worker?Do you have a passion for providing first-class support to Children's Services?We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within a Duty and Assessment Team in the Bury area. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an effective, child-centred service to children in need of support and protection.Benefits:
* 1 x post 30 hours per week/1 x post 18.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:
* Responding to new referrals from professionals and members of the public
* Signposting people to other agencies or completing an assessment of need, investigating allegations so that children/young people are protected from harm
* Managing a varied and complex caseload
* Undertaking Court Work
* Writing concise, fit-for-purpose reports/court statements
* Working well within a team and with external agencies
To be considered for the Social Worker ideally you will have:
* Experience of working in a Children's Duty and Assessment team (desirable)
* SWE registration
* BSc Social Work or equivalent
