Your Key Responsibilities

4. Work in different departments of the organization to gain practical experience in the course of an academic education as an undergraduate
5. Gain hands-on experience and understand different operational functions in one designated department
6. Contribute to team projects by conducting research, compiling data, and creating presentations
7. Assist with daily administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and scheduling
8. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
9. Prepare and present reports summarizing learning and contributions during the internship
10. Provide support for manufacturing area and related support functions
11. Daily Scheduling meetings and activities with Production Leaders
12. Verify capacity and demand risks, highlighting and communicating constraints
13. Updating SAP Material Masters
14. Communicate with external suppliers
15. Monitor deliveries from suppliers for assigned materials and updating SAP
16. Planning - Creation of releases and EDI transmission to Suppliers
17. Monitoring inventory levels, react accordingly to min and max
18. Support inventory and cost reduction activities
19. Analyze MRP run and determine demand
20. Order management including purchase orders, production orders to tool centers and scheduling agreements with suppliers of assigned materials
21. Provide consumption reports as needed
22. Other activities/projects as assigned

Your Qualifications

23. Currently enrolled at a post-secondary educational institution in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management program
24. Solid knowledge of computer applications and software
25. Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Office
26. Ease at math and problem solving
27. Some flexibility with working hours
28. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
29. Basic knowledge in SAP
30. Consistent and effective planning abilities
31. Disciplined, organized and attentive to detail
