We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Nursery Baby Room Leader to join our team. This role is vital in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where young children can thrive. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader with a strong commitment to high-quality early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the nursery room team, ensuring a high standard of care and education at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning activities that support children's development.
* Create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment where all children feel valued.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Observe, assess, and document children's development, using this information to plan appropriate next steps.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
* Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
Requirements & Experience
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education (essential).
* MUST have a Level 3 Minimum in Early Years
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* A background in nursery management or room leadership (desirable).
* A passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding of their developmental needs.
