About the role
Connex Education Leicester are working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in the LE5 area of Leicester to recruit a Year 1 Teacher for a long-term Summer Term role.
The successful teacher will work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 13th April to 10th July, taking responsibility for a Year 1 class. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, with a particular focus on phonics and early reading.

Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Knowledge of phonics, including Read Write Inc
* Organised, reliable and committed
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply
