Southern Water is looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual to join our Major Projects team as a Commercial Manager. Job Overview
As a Commercial Manager, you'll play a key supporting role in the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including those delivered through models such as Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC) and Specified Infrastructure Projects Regulations (SIPR). You'll work alongside experienced colleagues and external partners to help shape commercial strategies that deliver long-term value for customers, the environment, and the business.
Responsibilities Will Include
* Support the development and negotiation of commercial agreements, including DBFOM and Bulk Supply Agreements.
* Assist in shaping commercial models, risk allocation strategies, and payment mechanisms for large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Contribute to the preparation of internal business cases and project approvals.
* Help coordinate engagement with external stakeholders including regulators (such as Ofwat), investors, and delivery partners.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams across Legal, Finance, Regulatory, and Engineering to ensure commercial alignment.
* Monitor and manage commercial risks and support the delivery of financially efficient outcomes.
About You

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week. Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
