Global Planning Lead – Data Centres | £80,000 - £110,000 | London (Hybrid)

A leading consultancy is looking for a Global Planning Lead to take the reins on pre-construction planning across a portfolio of major data centre projects - starting with a flagship scheme in Central London.
This is a client-facing role focused on programme development at pre-construction stage. It requires strong planning expertise, the ability to work independently, and experience in technically complex, fast-moving environments.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead pre-construction planning activities for a key data centre client.
* Develop and maintain high-level programmes using Primavera P6 and Asta.
* Standardise planning processes across multiple projects and regions.
* Work directly with the client’s team to provide planning input into delivery strategy and project sequencing.
* Provide progress reporting, forecasting, and scenario planning as required.
* Attend the client’s offices in Victoria three days per week.
Required experience:
* Proven planning experience on data centre construction projects.
* Strong working knowledge of both P6 and Asta software.
* Experience in consultancy environments, ideally in a client-facing capacity.
* Understanding of pre-construction workflows including procurement and early-stage design development.
* Familiarity with major construction contract forms such as NEC or FIDIC, and their implications for programme development and reporting.
