Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), working on a rota to cover a mixture of days, evenings, weekends and sleep in night cover.

Typical day as our Support Worker
Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans.
We support people with mental health conditions who need some extra support to develop and rebuild their independent living skills.
Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able.
Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
Cuppas, chats and catch ups. Theres no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to work together with colleagues too.

You bring
Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail
Experience of caring for others, you may have worked in care before or have experience of caring for others such as family members or children
The ability to workon your own initiative, remaincalm under pressure and havea resilient approach
Recognise every customer is different and youre able to adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs
To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Job details
Where were flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers. That may mean adapting your start or finishing times on occasion.
Work pattern - you will be working shifts on our 24hr rota details which will include a share of sleep in night cover, weekends, day shifts and evening shifts
Able to use technology to update support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
