New opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join an established and growing team based in Guildford.
Job Description
* Process weekly payroll
* Save timesheets in PDF and JPEG formats
* Add timesheets manually into the current payroll system
* Raise self bills and umbrella invoices
* Issue sales invoices through the system, sending out PDFs
* Add expenses for contractors as needed
* Conduct new starter checks
* Onboard new clients as required
* Set up payment runs
* Process payments from Sage accounts
* Handle contractor/client queries via phone or email
* Send account statements to clients as needed
* Assist the Accounts Manager when required
The Successful Applicant
* Relevant payroll experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work under short deadlines
* Experience in an accountancy team is a plus but not essential
What's on Offer
* Salary up to £30,000
* 25 days of holiday, increasing to 30 with each year + 1 for birthday
