We are seeking multiple
Product Managers
to join a major Defence digital health programme. This long-term initiative will deliver secure, modern healthcare IT systems across the UK and overseas, enabling day-to-day patient care, specialist dental services, deployed medical support, and seamless integration with wider health systems.
The Role
As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of a specific product area, guiding the full lifecycle from strategy through delivery to sustainment. You will work closely with stakeholders across Defence, healthcare, and digital teams to ensure products are user-centred, outcomes-focused, and aligned with programme objectives.
Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with senior Defence, clinical, and technical stakeholders.
* Define and deliver product outcomes, ensuring measurable value.
* Apply user research and clinical insights to shape product functionality.
* Set KPIs and track benefits to align with programme goals.
* Collaborate with architects and delivery teams on data and system interoperability.
Product Areas Include
* Electronic Health Record (EHR): delivering core clinical systems across Defence medical facilities in the UK and overseas.
* Dental: integrating dental modules into the healthcare IT environment.
* Deployed: delivering healthcare IT capabilities to support operations and exercises.
* Ecosystem: enabling secure information flow across systems and with NHS partners, including a clinical portal with role-based access.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Product Manager in healthcare IT, Defence, or government digital programmes.
* Knowledge of clinical systems, electronic health records, or dental/medical IT (NHS experience advantageous).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Familiarity with data architecture, interoperability standards, and user-centred design.
* Security Clearance: SC
Role Details
* Duration: 12 months, with potential extension
* Location: UK-based with occasional travel to Corsham
* Day rate: £250 - £400 DOE (Inside IR35)
