Responsibilities
1. Day-to-day coordination and execution of calibration, ensuring activities are fully documented, authorized prior to completion, and executed in line with Good Engineering Practices.
2. Carry out necessary repairs, replacements, and maintenance in a safe manner and report any unsafe practices to the relevant persons.
3. Support and carry out maintenance and calibration regimes to satisfy the needs of the planned maintenance system.
4. Engage openly with the engineering team, sharing knowledge to help progress towards a fully multi-skilled department.
5. Support the team’s commitment to maintaining high standards of housekeeping everywhere.
6. Take personal ownership in supporting the Engineering Department to ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained and fully operational, aligned with production, validation, and project requirements. Ensure timely and compliant execution of all Quality Management System (QMS) activities to the required standards.
7. Support the engineering manager in maintaining standards of relevant Regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience
* ONC/HNC electrical/mechanical or equivalent Vocational qualifications.
* Minimum 5 years' experience operating in a maintenance environment (advantageous but not essential).
* Previous clean room experience (advantageous but not essential).
* Previous experience of instrument calibration and testing is desirable.
* Ability to interpret and implement engineering standards on a wide range of plant.
