Job Title: Vehicle Technician / Master Technician / MOT Tester

Main Responsibilities:
1. Perform high-quality maintenance and repairs within standard job times.
2. Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines, if applicable.
3. Specialize in diagnostics, efficient root cause analysis, and repairs.
4. Advise management on additional work needed and seek assistance for fault rectification.
5. Maintain competence through training, courses, and technical updates.
6. Discuss vehicle issues with customers, ensuring professionalism and quality service.
7. Maintain good housekeeping and health and safety standards.
8. Complete vehicle condition reports and job cards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive motor trade experience, proficiency in diagnostic repairs, and an understanding of quality standards. An apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 3 City and Guilds or equivalent is essential. A Master Technician or MOT qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
A full UK driving licence is required.
