A well-established organisation in the Heathrow area is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 350 sales ledger accounts, ensuring credit procedures are followed, and aged debt targets are consistently achieved. You'll play a key role in protecting the business from financial risk through effective credit limit management and proactive debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage customer credit limits, conduct periodic reviews, and recommend appropriate actions.
2. Achieve quarterly aged debtor targets across multiple ledgers.
3. Issue month-end statements and provide copy invoices promptly.
4. Proactively chase overdue debt via phone and written communication.
5. Take STOP action where necessary and issue 7-day legal notices.
6. Escalate cases to senior credit staff for legal action when required.
